Black Poetry : When you find your in a situation

[HODEE]

When you find you are in a situation
There seems nothing you can do

The one who got you in this thing
They quickly abandon you

They use what they think
They know about you

The things they see you do
They later use these misunderstanding and those things
To criticize and use against you

What the H*ll
This thing it smells
Like a set up
A real let down

I stand here looking around for friends
Close at hand none can be found

So I take the lumps
The ridicule and bumps

My faith is under attack

The faith I had in other people
The faith in myself in fact

I will get thru this
I know I will

How badly I come out in the end

I will access the damage
Left like a hurricane wind
Then build back in my life what I can

They are out

I am sorry

I can’t let you back in

You let me down when I needed you
You acted like an enemy not a friend

You crying
What about me

When I needed you

No tears
Now
No tears now
I don’t have the passion for you!

I was dedicated to what we built

I had fervor that fire
Couldn’t you see it my actions
It was before me
In my eyes

In my heart
It has changed
I don’t about you feel the same
It is tragic and that is now the game

You are going to try and convince me
Really convince me

You didn’t betray my trust

I am going to listen

Listen I am about to say something
I know you know

Your story sounds believable
But, you I can no longer trust
Never trust you

No more

So I am planning on leaving
I am looking at the plan

I am stepping on with my life
You can do now
What ever you want

It’s true we talk
No one listens
So the words go over our heads

I hear you
I don’t
You hear me
This relationship it is dead

It failed us many years ago
I have stuck around
For a reason

Now the reason is fulfilled
The strength in me is real

To complete this
To help me to heal
I need to leave

I will be working
On an answer
And a solution for everything.

Feel free in the future
To come to me
For advice

Be careful, know this now
I may be sceptical

Come to me
I might be a friend

You will be surprised to discover
Although we are no longer lovers

I know exactly how to respond

Just don’t bring the same old

Same old
That broke the relationship

That can longer be a part of us

I hope in the future we can remain friends​

Whew...breaking up is never easy, especially if the relationship lasted a long time. I know what it is to have trusted information used against you. It hurts like hell. I felt the intensity of this flow.
