    is it right...
    for me to say
    I'm uncertain
    and then...
    ask you to stay
    when I know
    I wouldn't do it myself
    dim the lights
    while we embrace
    wipe them tears
    from your face
    it's alright
though we've gone gone gone gone
    our separate ways

    but here we are
    feelin them ole flames
    losin control
    like nothin' ever changed
    and I never liked
    to say goodbye
    know it only hurts
    when you cry

    a kiss goodbye
    and for old time sake
    it's over
    but can we
    just walk away
    it's a hard road
    when you're on your own
    and ain't nobody
tryin' to take it all alone

    and here we are
    fannin' them ole flames
    losin' control
    like nothin' ever changed
    and I never liked
    to say goodbye
    knowin' it only hurts
    when you cry

I had hoped this had a
    universal affect seeing
    as how some other
    poets dropped similar vibes
    thanx
