We see ourselves as children, and running through the woods. Because we're laughing we believe that everything is as it should be. Sometimes one can imagine the woods with the sunlight piercing down through the plant-giants and perhaps you and I are there swimming in place that only exists to us. And we are happy. When we are children it makes sense to run in the rain. It makes sense to spin around and around in cirles until we're dizzy and do it all over again. I'd wear a purple hat with feathers, and mama's bright red dress that she wears when she's goes out to dance. And I wouldn't think twice about walking down the cracked pavements of sidewalk. When we are children, love is so possible and dreams are so real. I think it would be nice to stay this way.. With you... But those times have been replaced with responsibility. We can't live anymore. We can't love anymore. Promise ourselves that everything will change once this chapter is over. Before long, our chilren will be gone, and we'll mourn and nothing will change.
