Atlanta, GA (that dirty!!)
Occupation
Postal worker
(haven't been writing in so long, this is impromptu, bear with me y'all)

When time was on my side I
could sit on the edge of my bed and cry
turn to my side and lie
On my back and ask God why...

When time was on my side I
would await my time to die
would answer the phone dry
wonder why elders thought me spry...

When time became my enemy
I had to redefine my destiny
Look for all that I could see
Change the way I portrayed me

When time became my conquerer
I had to stop being a ponderer
Grow up and realize that a wonderer
could never ever turn back the hands....

Now I am regretting that I took for
granted what could not be erased
