I was troubled, teary-eyed and went down on my knees
beggin "please, Lord, please, lemme see what I need"
I was silent, but I heard a whisper in the breeze

"When the time comes...you will receive..."

Should've been enough I guess, but I wasn't ready to heed
so I stood back up and raised my arms, forming a "T"
I looked to the sky and shouted, "Lord do you even hear me?"

I heard "When the time comes, you will believe..."

So I got dressed and stepped out into the unknown sea
of people, problems, issues needing solving, wishing I was free
that I could just BE, me, nomatter what confusion I see

and God said "When the time comes...you will agree..."

'agree with what' I wondering ~ traveling wit no time to burn
wandering, pondering whether I should try to discern
and it hit me...suddenly...'gyrl when you gonna learn'

cause "When the time is right, certainly I will return"

(if you walking in a circle
you WILL return to your source
and to your center
so come enter my mental
