as raindrops fall
and lightening begins
to strike the sky
i want u to
think of me each time
it's representin' u and i

weeping through the seals
of a window pane
my face is soak and wet
crying tears of resentment
fogging it with sweat

that night i'll never forget
the love that we shared
somehow the clouds above
are dark and gray
leaving me impaired

as i reminisce
and think back of the times
that we shared
and this only happens
when the rain falls

i wanna go outside...in the rain

let the soothing pelting of cool raindrops melting red hot angry soul filled with the memory of those yesterday happenings that brought me to my knees...baby, please. i wanna blame you but i can't find the reasons...justification for pointing fingers of blame during this season of wind and rain...then the lightning came and i ran inside to four walls, a bed, and a million whys...but none could soothe this aching soul...relieve these memories of days of old.

so

i wanna go out side
so i can cry

peacefully.
