When China takes back Taiwan, America will not come to her defense.

Our leaders will probably just excuse their inaction as part of some type of "diplomatic deal" with China as thanx for their efforts in curtailing North Korea's nuclear development.

China would not be another Iraq. By the time we got a decent force in the area we would still be fighting a force 20 times the size. We dont have the resources.

    so are we effectively checkmated?
perhaps the US is not the top dog anymore?

i believe Bush's military mis adventures have left us quite vulnerable.

    Brother James,

The real concern ought to be when China and Russia invade the United States.

China has exceeded the US in its conventional warfare military might for a long time. We're just a superpower because of our nukes. Dubya has spread us thin with his war on terrorism. China knows this--that's why she is making her move now.

it'a not just the chinese invading this country, it's the UN troops being sent here with the consent of the Gov't. Most of the national guard and army reserve are over seas now. What does that tell you?
