Remerber when we were kids and all that ever mattered was playing kick-ball, dodge-ball, "it" and who who made the best "red" kool-aid. What about tryin to stay out past the street lights.

Remerber when childhood meant innocent and nothing you ever did was really that bad?

If you can remerber that explain to me how did we go from dodge ball to dodging bullets?

How did we go from selling lemoade on the corner to selling crack?

How did we loose our childhood, at what point and time did we misplace it?

Was it when the liqours stores was the only stores in our community?
was it when "god" was no long a factor and money was?
was it when baby daddys took the place of father?
Or was it when teacher was looked at as underpaid babysitter?

I want my childhood back, when all that matter was "red" kool-aid.
Just for a little while, just long enough to,,,,,,, SMILE
