Why is it easier to get a gun than a job?
a forty ounce cheaper than equivalent fresh juice?
Why is it that the NAACP still maintains that name
I have never been "colored" but African so who
are they advancin'? And to be the devils advocate
if I was "colored" in the fifties, the sixties
why have all the signs that read "colored" this and
"colored" that been removed (in most regions) yet,
they're still a "National" association
"Associating themselves with the
Advancement of "COLORED" People? I thought the
P.C. term is "African-American."
Why is it that we know we've been brainwashed
yet refuse to start the rinse cycle and be
done with this indoctrination set down by
the "Fathers" of this nation / and if the heavenly
father's son was black what does that make
the founders of this nation before the effects
of weather on bodily features?
Cause we know Civilization began in AFRICA? and since
we know that why do so many claim their roots
are in Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York
or some other MEtropolis and not AFRICA
those who deny will cry in the end cause they
will be orphaned in US and A(merica) /
Why is it that we complain about "the man" and
denounce "the man" anad say it's because of "the man"
things are not so? don't we know that he who
does not respect him/herself gets no respect from anyone else...
and if healing starts from within,
we are in the heart of most cities you know,
IN-NER city, how can the world be sane
when it's insides are rotten? Not all the
people but the situation: drugs, guns,
dysfunction times the horizon...oh yeah,
why do some want to go to WAR with
their own brother yet not with Uncle Sam
(Hmmmm, there goes that brainwashing thing again)
about the IN-justices that destroy US
Why do so many know yet walk in the shadows
with hushed mouths? From the upper income bracket
to the poverty line. And who's to say that you
are not below that line if your mind is poor
in regards to who you are. Money buys you things
not sanity not assurance of who you really are,
but, who are we? Other than the "tenth"
largest nation in the world in regards to our income
and GDP? You read it right...if blak folks were
a sovereign nation we would be the "tenth" largest
in the world...but Tommy and Donna and Gucci and
Prada and Ralph and Nike and Pelle Pelle and NAutica
has got our pockets in knots and our money in their
trust funds for their kids...but what about ours?
Why are so many content with a JOB? So they can run
around for someone else's dream? We all sleep?
So live what you dream...Why don't you hear from
the Michael Jordans (mind coopted), Quincy Jones (mind
coopted), Robert Johnsons (mind bought and sold, oh
yeah and coopted), and Kwesi's (mind ? NAACP) when it
comes to Mumia Abu-Jamal but I got to look at
Bob Dylan and "others" speak to get the brother
out...we all should be "OUT" raged about our
condition we as a whole cut our own throats
and the man done put up his rope
cause he knows this...Willie Lynch is a bad mother...
shut yo' mouth...but our kids can't open their
mouths and sing the black national anthem, but, a
tricked daddy ja ruled *** shakin' anthem flows
from their mouths as if they're POETS? why?

(some black folk need a melanin check)

Such Wisdom ...

I'm NOT sad ... I'm just shakin' my head at the wisdom shown through your words ...
Someone said your bad, in essence, you are~ But I must say you are GOOD ... Good at expounding on the gift that is within you ... share ... and when you don't feel like it share some more ... and in your sharing of wisdom we will understand and seek to find answers to the reasons WHY.
