    dear religious people.
since i have been here i have seen many questions asked and answered.
i have seen all kinds of things spoken about one person's belief.
i have seen a few nasty fights.

i have never seen one conversion, not one.
not once has anyone convinced anyone else of anything.
    so, what's the point?

    Not so fast...

I do believe that Sistah River's view of religion and/or spiritual faith has altered after meeting folks online here w/ different viewpoints..
Although, I will admit that she is in the vast minority.

    peace,

true indeed...........................our sister River is a true example of one being honest enough to open their mind and step outside of a book to see how the view is from beyond...........

sister River is a beautiful example indeed!!!

but not everyone is expected to have this type of courage.........!

this is THE MOST "on point" post in this forum here.
my thoughts exactly, although l've shared in very few dialogues.
They all (or for the most part) lead to name-calling, some one getting banned or some people trying to stroke their own egos and yet....
    Muslims are still muslims.
Christians are still christians, or believe in Christ.
    Atheists are still atheists.
what have u's are still what have u's.

    What's the point????

    l'm with you here.

Your right, theres not point at all. Think I will just go back to watching the forums like I and many others have been doing for months. Its nasty in the religious section and too tempting to join in the arguements of," I know more than you know malady."Too bad ya cant have different forums for Muslums, Christianity, What nots. make it easier. Id pay 20 a month for that. ( bet the membership would rise out da roof too) wouldnt have to worry about getting harassed for your beliefs no matter what they were.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I've been convinced....

Convince on how good of a job certain con artists and shisters have done on the so-called concious black community to convert a large percentage of them into heathens and pagans.

But it's the duty of the civilized to civilize the UN-civilized.

I've coverted a lot of people in real life and set them on the right path and even a few on the internet by setting a striking example of how powerful a black man can be when he's righteous and bold or raising powerful argument in a way they never heard before.

Black men love strength, not cowardice.

They want to see prosperity, not suffer poverty gracefully.

(I hope the way you spelled "Muslim" was an error) Other than that, I actually agree with you. There should be sub-forums for the Religion/Spirituality section. Those who choose to learn about Islam, Christianity or ATRs could do so without any interruption.

Bro ALL it takes for evil to prosper in the world and take over, is for good bruthaz like us to kick back and do nothing.

    That's ALL it takes.

Why do you think all these criminals and thugs and bums have taken over our community, stacking up the cash and macking on the women?

Becuase the good bruthaz who stand for righteousness have become so intimidated and worn out that we've given up.

But the heathens and pagans pose a united front and never argue among themselves...only against us.

Where it used to command respect in the black community, the enemy has been successful in discrediting Islam in the minds of most of our people and now he's working on religion and morality all together to completly strip us of our humanity.

Professor Griff said: Take a stand...black man!

i think that concept is on the table somewhere.
    it could happen.
your 20 offer may just put it over the top.
i would make it a poll except i don't know how to make a poll.
soon as i can figure it out i will.
