I really liked this quote from Bro. MSred.

However, personally, I would edit it to:

"Men do what they MUST. Boys do what they can."

How do our Brothers differentiate between a "Boy" and a "Man?"

How interesting (and revealing) that you would choose Tiger as your "example" of a "Man."

I caught it as a "joke." And I thought it was a poor "joke."

And what you intended as a "joke" is the very mindset too many so-called "men" have about their marital infidelities...that when a "man" cheats, well, he's just being a "man." So, he gets a "pass" because that is just his "nature."

So, your "jokey-joke" was "revealing" to me that a Black man, such as yourself, would even think that was "humorous" to even say.

That same mindset is what many generations of our Black men have been taught by their own fathers and uncles and other male mentors and many generations of Black women have been taught this same mindset and to "look the other way" even when she knew her husband was cheating.

Yes, it was very "revealing" to me to see this mindset REPEATED in 2010 by another Black man......and it must have been "FUNNY" to YOU...So, you thought you'd SHARE IT.

    responsibilities

    Thank you, Bro. Rich.

I wholly agree with almost all you've said here except the last sentence. Some "boys" never become "men" if they never learn the lessons he needs to as he ages.
