WHAT'S LOVE, PEACHES & CREAM ?

What’s love ?
Peaches & Cream?
And so it seems

Sitting in this train car - amidst a slew of cold stares
While pondering without any care
Is divine justice any fare?

Shoes untied, - standing bare
A poor soul appears
Crying and begging in despair
"A quarter, a dime, any change will be just fine''

Again the question dares
What’s love ? - Peaches & Cream ?
Or simply a sweet smile
From an unknown fare who cares .
