    what do dreams mean?
    i'm not talking about the
    "one day i'm gonna be"
    "dream deferred dreams"
but those things that seem to
    be inner conconscienceness
    visual manifestations of things
    that your subconscience don't want
to show you until your rapid eye move
    ment is in effect
    those dreams
    they say they have meanings
but i never dream about my life
so does that mean i don't have meaning?
    i could've swore i was full of
    definition surrounded by parenthetical
parameters so i could be pronounced
as another number in this big ole plantation
i could've swore i had those two italicized
letters after my parenthesis that stated
the origin of my etymology but i never
saw Af. cause that's all i claim
    could never be Am. until
    some things change
and "American" is not even a language
i've always heard "can you speak English?"
    "do you speak English?"
never ever heard a cop ask a brother
    as he obviously harassed him
    "Are you American?"
    cause see the constitution
is selective when it wants to be spoken
and it's the only language i know that
is inherently spoken but never understood
but anyway i had this dream and ya'll
    can analyze if you want
i had this dream of the inside of a box
i deduced this to be symbolic
of my inner conscience thoughts on
this country cause i swear i be boxed in
sometimes and then i saw this
brother tap dancing on the top
of the box while i was in it / i deduced this
to be my inner conscience telling
me that some negros gone proverbially
"make it" and step all over those that
    proverbially "did not" to ensure
    there is somebody underfoot /
in this same dream i saw the tap
dancing negro with a trophy in his right
hand and a piece of paper in his left
with the initials "WW" on it / i
deduced this to mean that to some
negro fell ows that after you get your
BA, MS and PhD or just "entertain"
you have to have a "WW" to show that
you have made it / and sport that
white woman as a trophy given to
    you at the finish line
of SUCK CESS / I mean we have
    so many concrete creatures of
evidence to prove my dreams as the
    truth we have your;
    Barkleys
    Gumbels
    Poitiers
    Jones'
    Goodings
    and many other negros
    that are a SUCK CESS
i mean whatever happened to the sisters
cause see i dreamed of a warm cup
of coffee sitting in the middle of the
    road during a Minnesota February
and my inner conscience told me that
it was a blak woman to keep me warm
    even in the cold times
    and i mean can i
    just dream of dreaming?
