They got the make-up wrong and she needs to have a little more meat on her bones... or should I say plastic on her frame. Slightly thicker.

It would probably be cool if she had your "do"

I'm wondering if they had any black female consultants on that project.

So for what I've gathered is no...They all seem to be be Indian or white

The designers are: Rachel Roy, Tory Burch, Albertus Swanepoel, Phillip Crangi, Kate Spade (represented by Deborah Lloyd), Monica Botkier, Betsey Johnson, Isaac Mizrahi, Alexis Bittar, Lorraine Schwartz, Justin Guinta for Subversive Jewelry, and Devi Kroell.

    Stacey McBride-Irby

The black Barbie was created by Stacey McBride-Irby who is an African-American and veteran Barbie designer. Stacey McBride-Irby was inspired by her six-year-old daughter. She wanted to create dolls that were inspirational and career-minded for young black girls to emulate. In addition, she wanted the young girls to share similar African-American facial features with the dolls.

    This doll is not pretty.
Her makeup is wrong, her eyes look like cat eyes and her hair is too short.
