    1. I fail to see how this would become a hit.

    2. Oz was a hit. How did it affect black people?

The question in this thread is very clear Kemet's try. If you lack the imagination to accept the hypothetical premise, then why bother answering the thread at all?

And If you are interested in how black people were affected by Oz, why not start a thread about it and talk it out? This thread is very directly and very clearly not about that.

PS: All of these questions are rhetorical.

My point, which was obviously lost on you, was that there was a successful show on HBO about this. It didnt have any adverse affect on black people

Let me break it down for you again Kemet's try..

    Pay attention:

    1. This thread has nothing whatsoever to do with Oz.
    2. This thread contains not a single reference to any "adverse affect on black people".. those are your words.

The question I'm asking is very clear and direct if not simple. It says:

What would black people do if "The Chadwick Journals" became a primetime TV hit?

Watch the video first.. then.. answer the question.. or just bounce.

I called an old friend and she asked me if I turned gay. I was shocked as to why but now I see. It's like someone opened up a closet or something. :-\

But the question "What would Black people do?" is kind of like--what? Black people never did anything in unison. But we always do the same things: Some Talk and Some Walk.

But for the most part we'll just have a Primetime TV show with gay dudes.

I'd say maybe more gays would show up in our communities. But that's just what media does. It gives people some outlet to express themselves in an anti-social way. LOL.
