With the new GOP controled house of congress, and Democrats that care more about the lobbyists then the citizenry,
when will we realy get serious about forming a safety net to protect the black community across the nation.

The statement is "some form" of black naionalism

this is not about a monolith or we have to all be on the same page but an understanding that we are seriously in a very real and tangible economic war,
that wil require our serious self defense

Already the "stimulus package" provided to NYS has allowed a public housing project in Harlem to be sold to Citibank,

along with various other public private partnership
deals going on across the 50 states

Now one has to wonder what will happen to the millions of us that depend on

    Public houseing
    Public Schools
    Civil Service jobs
    municipal hospitals
    community health screening and clinics
    Day care
    job Training
    Summer jobs programs
    city and state colleges
    Assistance for those exiting incarceration

    here are some of the statistics of what is already proposed;
K-12 education funding, the CBPP found, would drop by $8.7 billion, and food stamps for at-risk pregnant women, infants, and young children would lose $1.6 billion in funding. State- and local-run housing programs would lose $6.9 billion, and children and family social services would lose nearly $2.2 billion.

Already pinched state budgets would take massive hits as well, losing out on $31.6 billion in federal funding.

Cuts to state budgets mean even deeper cuts to education and social services that benefit working families. Starving the states is also a strategy to force state governments to default on their pension obligations to unionized public sector workers.

GOP Proposes $74B in Funding Cuts

The Obama administration is preparing to unveil its 2012 budget request next week. Days ahead of the request, Republicans have unveiled their spending plan calling for $74 billion in cuts to Obama’s request from last year
