Clear stands against evil, are in
    most faith systems
The 42 negative confessions are clear, in Kemet
the Alaashe is clear in Yoruba,
the Yurugu parable is clear in the Dogon
the hadith is clear in Islam
the ten commandments are clear in Judaism
the sermon on the mount is clear in Christianity
The Dhamapada is clear in Buddhism
the laws of Mani are clear in the Upanishads
The Zend Avesta is clear in Zooastrianism
The Popol Vu is clear in South America,

    but what is not clear
    is the European's "Iceman's Inheritance",
    and the historical need
for the Elite among them to destroy
    denegrate, humiliate and enslave
anyone that did not look like them.

Alexander burned down the Great libraries in Kemet and Carthage
The Templars , with the knowledge of Jesus being Black,
    ceremonialy spit on the cross
Napolean shot the African featured nose off of the Sphinx,
and we all know how we got here and how many were thrown overboard
we also know that the elite from all over the US and Europe funded a cult during the 40s to wipe out Africa

    This lack of clarity
    or rationalization of evil,
has been defined today as pathocracy or government by psychopaths, those who can not tell right from wrong
The larger term is called Ponerology
which enabled the neocons to set forth a path of global domination and degredation.

Now these groups have what they call spiritualty like The Church of Satan, the Temple of Set, the OTO, P2 and Bohemian Grove, as well as the Klu Kux Klan

but what value do such things have for the Black community here or in the Motherland?

Brother Ankhur ... great thread, and a question I've asked a few times over the years.

It seems that some of our people have embraced evil, even arguing that it is good, and should be the goal.

The little I've seen of it though, seems to have no concern for the collective, and is primarily focused only on the individual and their hope for comfort, increase, etc.

It seems a very selfish path to take, but certainly one that is available, and that our people are seeking out.

I guess it should be no surprise to us though, as our people have adopted many of the ugliest ways of our oppressors.

    Thanks for sharing! :grouphug:

As someone who has admired Crowley
    in my teen years
and hung out in a place called the Warlock shop back then, I have no problem with anyone selecting their personal belief systems.
Back in High School, a White student, brought in the Satanic Bible to speech class and tried to discuss it, now I don't know if they dissed the guy for his beliefs or because he was white, but he never showed any negativity or animosity to anyone, so really,
I was shocked when he brought up the book, but was more shocked about how folks treated him after.

My problem is folks using very skillful visual and dialectical lures to get Black folks to question the natural validity of our instinctive knowing of right from wrong.

This kind of manipulation had changed hip hop from fun toasting to folks actually killing each other over lyrics ,
cause well Crowley said, "do what though will is the WHOLE of the law", which our youth have taken to mean do your own thing , and anything goes.
look at our young men and women!
sisters used to wear Nefertiti jewelry, and cowrie shells, now they wear spiderwebs on their clothing.
brothers used to wear Ankhs the symbol of life, now they wear skull and bones, the symbol of death,
and look at all the anger!
ride the bus or train before after school and observe what has happened to our youth, different from when you or I were that age.
And this is also the result of the parents saying, hey anything goes do your own thing!

The hippie movement which followed that trend lead to many great spiritual discoveries, but many more shattered lives and ironically as White youth in the 60s were looking for this androgynous, free for all, freedom from all laws,
Black folks were looking back to Africa,
    for our Great laws !!!

to heal the post slavery trauma,
as well as protect us from integrating with those who don't really want to live with us.

It was then that folks took the path of Afrocentricity through,
Kemetic truths, Yoruba spirituality and culture,
and ethical mandates for the upliftment of the community
like the Nguzo Saba, written by Julius Nyere, and translated and adopted for Kwanzaa, as a means of dissemination through the extended family in the once a year holiday ritual.

    Thank you brotha.

I agree. I'd like to add what is painfully obvious missing from the discourse among new age practitioners and magicians.

    1. How often do we see the aforementioned practitioners reference living traditional &frican priest, other credo mutwa in books or on forums?

    2. From time to time the subject of the ancestors is brought up in a discussion, but no mention is made of propitiating them. Perhaps some of us think they play no role in our success or failure.

    3. Where is the dialogue of the connection between the living, the ancestors and the almighty?

you speak something that is closer to me then my own heart.
As a toddler I was African, not colored, not negro, so by nursery school i was the od fellow, and long before I knew what a Bible was,
doing something wrong or bad I felt and was lead to understand, was something that would make the ancestors sad, so morality and ethics was a thing of emotion and tradition, not merely dogma, as folks try to claim.
Once again you bring great light to the heart of the matter

After 400 years of White Supremacy, good and evil may be just relative to folks who are not Black but to Black Americans whose ancestors have faced unspeakable hell

Evil is very real and is Nothing to Appease or Placate
