Love yourselves and be good role models too!!
And educate ourselves.
appreciate and respect and value ourselves
All of the above point to empowerment from within - notice the use of "our" in all the above posts - however, our focus and energies are directed from without. Forcing to be accepted and to develop from without is nonsensical and destructive.
What is destructive is being isolated into a lockstep where no one can make a choice unless it meets the approval of tradition and none can move outside that like having to vote Democrat no matter what. Like being suspicious of moving along with other races simply because they are other races, or the "without". Power is how those without perceive AA -- As leaders for everyone's good? That would include medicine, teachers, science, protectors and it should include President, and other stations "without", in government for all. All this means being "accepted" without, is being Trusted because care is demonstrated for other people, having Qualities that other people look to, in other words leaders good people want to follow. That can't be done through fear and hate for other people. While no one can have everyone agree or like them; still, good people everywhere recognize good people and that is where Power is illuminated and is its strongest.
I'm thinking of an evolving strategy that has an overall eternal goal but along the way adopts a different set of objectives at different stages.
Imagine we are now at a particular stage. I feel the right strategy we should be adopting now should focus on objectives related to inward development to address the current context we find ourselves in. Maybe at a later stage another strategy can be adopted once we are strong within and sovereign.
You have no ultimate control over the constitution that drives another's perception of you. From now to time immemorial another can bring to me various perceptions they have of me and I would have had no influence on where that influence has come from or the constitution/internal imbalance that has created that [negative] perception within them. Strategically, and by right, I should ensure I am empowered within first before I tackle their problem.
Communicate more.... with organized methods... bring value to all lives..
...communicate to mobilise, motivate and educate, but given we have to fully accept and understand the implication of mass communication today being digital, what are the right platforms for our objectives ?
People place far too little importance on this right here.
Please let's just don't dwell on the negative reactions of mere individuals:
Also do suggest new means to help us (as well as black people) to move forward again...
