Do you think there are any differences between continental African people and Africans born in US (African Americans), in terms of culture, ethnicity or anything else - that makes African Americans a bonafide group or ethnicity that although has origins in Africa but may exhibit enough uniqueness to view differently? Do you believe the term African American properly and adequately describe who we are as a people? Do you think African Americans, aside from the collective social and economic oppression that binds us, are a uniform group culturally? Are there any legimate variations among African Americans in terms of identity and culture? These questions are not meant to serve as divisive instruments but to gain a deeper introspection into what it means to be Black in the United States.
