What is the difference between Love and "IN" Love?

When dealing with the love interests, what do you believe is the difference between being "IN"Love and Loving someone?
Does one require anything specific; ie. time, committment, etc? How do people discern the difference for themselves? Must two people both be "IN" love in order for "In"Love to take place?

Personally, I've fallen in love twice. Yep, I believe in the romantic ideals of love and being in love and that there is a difference between the two. I think certain elements are present when two are in love that are not for two just together that love each other.

Just a lighter subject to debate and discuss...

Loving someone is having great respect, appreciation, and adoration for someone. Being "IN LOVE" is the same thing, but now your rational state of mind is overwhelmingly compromised by selfish emotional indulgence.

Love is a positive emotion, and you see beautiful things all around you.

Being in love is a positive emotion, where in seeing Beautiful things;ie Beyonce, Halle Berry, Janet Jackson, Pam Grier ect al sitting up in your living room naked!

,,And you'll say," It's nice meeting ya'll but you gots to go ,cuse my ladies on her way home." You're not really seeing another woman like that, and that is in love and full!

Love her constantly, consistently and with concern!

    Love is a verb.

"In Love" is a Noun. (a place; a state of mind)

    Love is the journey.

    "In Love" is the destination.

    Nicely put.

I also believe that you can love more than one person but you can be "in love" with ONLY one person.

    :D

I love that! It is so together, that it needs to be passed out to each of us,and that is on the real.

    peace,

"LOVE" - is what you think you want

"IN LOVE" - in love is what you think you want PLUS EMOTION........

2 people don't need to be "in love" for love to take place, as there are different levels of love...................
