The "collectively" part. Every individual wants something different.

    What "National Black community"?

This is the only one I know about and there is not much new going on in the past ten years.

That and quite honestly, the network business is difficult now-a-days. Oprah will only just begin to make money with her network this year. And with the Internet taking so many people away from TV, it'll make it even more difficult.

Why not do something internet based? Cheaper.

brother if you have a problem with visualizing 30 million Africans here in the US as your extended family just say so, as for me I do not and that is how I see everyone here on Destee and everyone Black not just on this continent, but on four continents, including the Aboriginies.

Exaclty how much would it take form at least 20 million people, to buy simply four national, "ADD ON" HDTV stations? A 22-4, 22-5, 22-6, 22-7 Free HDYV stations to air nationally?

How much would each person have to sepnd to simply purchase those stations, not pay premiums each, month, but a one time purchase for stations that would have Black and Fair Trade advertizers and other advertizers that respect the global Black community?

    Do the math!

So what is stopping us, Alarm Clock? I created a platform for you to tell us, straight up, what you think/believe is stopping us.

I will leave the math up to you. The question us in regards to the "National Black community" not on "four continents" (even though there are seven ) and its odd that you would address me with more questions rather than answering the question.

I did post a link to the National Black United Fund and stated its the only "Natiinal Black Communty" that I know of do I'm not talking about "extended family" which does not have the means to "collectively" address this issue outside the context of being organized.

You went from national to global and that sounds like good rhetoric but does the thread OP raise the question in regards to a global effort?

It's also rather comical to then post a picture of the MMM which does not have anything to do with the question raised unless its part of their program.
