    I’ve grown accustomed to growing

    And learning

    As an individual

    As a father

    As a lover

    As a man

In my travels I’ve come to

    Appreciate that humor

    Helps to ease the pains

That though things get me upset

What set me off may not be that deep

    Learning to be patient

    Humble and true to self

    Culminates to my reality

    My reality

    My reality is jazz loving

    Rock appreciating

    Hip Hop liking

    Sensually stimulating

    Spiritually growing

    Artistically articulating

    Computing logically

    Complicated terms

    Into simplistic

    Therapeutic catastrophes

    Of a Bipolar mind

    Yet though I find

That I can go on growing

    Learning more and more daily

And share and compare the me that I was

With the me that I am now

To get to the me that I want to be.
