With the exception of Jesus' birth, what other part did his mother Mary play in the life of her God given son Jesus? After her son's ascension into heaven [as the story is told] did Mary make the ascension as well? What are the biblical accounts regarding Mary [mother of Jesus] And while you are at it, where was Mary's tomb? Where did she live out her life, etc. And then too, what about Joseph and any sibblings of Jesus, etc. But back to Mary, the mother as taught, of this one Jesus. What do any of you know of her plight after the death and ascenion into heaven of her son Jesus?

Does any of you theologians know what happened to Jesus' mother Mary after his death? What actually happened to Mary and Joseph? Why have the bible, scriptures not write as much about these two? Not much was said about Moses either! So whose playing who here? Something ain't right with the Jesus story!

[1] Based on the scriptures, Mary was Chosen because she had expressed positive qualities; faith. That would be one aspect of the life of Mary. Her backstory too, is that she was a descendant of David and Bathsheba. Her lineage is written in St. Luke Chapter 3. And then, she submitted to the angel of the Lord when she was met and told that she would conceive and professed her full belief. That is only a few acts that she did.

After her son's ascension into heaven [as the story is told] did Mary make the ascension as well?
[2] No. Mary did not ascend after Jesus ascended. The scriptures say that Jesus that when he was on the cross, he spoke and told the disciples to embrace Mary as their mother.

What are the biblical accounts regarding Mary [mother of Jesus] And while you are at it, where was Mary's tomb? Where did she live out her life, etc.
[3] The Biblical accounts are indirect. Like the other women that followed Jesus such as Mary Magdalene, Jesus' mother was provided for by the disciples. That is the function of the Church; the priesthood functions as 'the husbandman' and the Church consist of the women and children. Therefore, about 30 years later, when the Diaspora occurred, she would have left Jerusalem with the disciples of Christ and migrated up north into present-day Turkey Anatolia, where the 7 Churches of God were formed. And she would have died there. Like Noah, Moses and many other people of God, their tomb was not confirmed.

what about Joseph and any sibblings of Jesus, etc.
[4] The last mention of Joseph was when Jesus was about 12 years old, and he was not written to be present at the cross. So therefore, I don't know what happened to him. Two of Jesus brother's were against him and no other mention of them after that. But two other of his brothers actually became apart of the 12 disciples!!! Good question. This is written in the Gospel and confirmed through concordance, but for some reason, this has been missed by many Black Christians. Many don't even realize that Jesus even had siblings. After Mary's children were named in St. Luke, the rest of them are not given any more text.

In the Book of Daniel, it is revealed that the prophets 'sealed up the scriptures' and that means that they coded their writings just as Jesus was prophesized to do, in a sense, as well. Jesus spoke in parables due to the adversary that has the nature to BLASPHEME and deceive 'the Word of God'. But the other reason not much is said about Mary and Joseph would be because, they made mistakes, sinned, that's our human nature, and they were forgiven and their sins were blotted out. I sure hope that my sins are blotted out too. As far as Moses, there is a lot of information about him, but it will not become obvious without researching.

Moses is well documented even in ancient Egyptian records.

Mary did have other children, which is why Jesus is often referred to as her first-born.

People in the town who knew his family were astounded by Jesus' knowledge and wisdom. “Where did he (Jesus) get all this? What kind of wisdom is he endowed with? . . . Is this not the carpenter, the son of Mary, a brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? Are not his sisters our neighbors here?” — (Mark 6: 2, 3)

Mary was obviously a believer in her son and was present in the upper room in Jerusalem when Holy Spirit was poured out on the remaining 11 Apostles and 108 others on the Day of Pentecost. (Acts 1: 13-15 and Acts: 2: 1-4)

However, there is no Scripture that clearly indicates that Mary ascended into the heavens with Jesus.
