I ain't afraid of nothing
God made me a black man
I crossed the ocean with chains on my feet
I was whipped for trying to run
While others filled with fear
Were tired and asleep

I kicked Jim Crow's ***
Kicked his dog's *** too
I ain't afraid of nothing
There ain't nothing I'm afraid to do

I don't have time for fear
As a black man you should know
Death walks with us
The end is always near

If I'm afraid, then I don't take chances
If I'm afraid, I let others make my way
If I'm afraid, I don't have the mind-set
To be successful every day

Fear will prevent me from looking anything in the eye
Yes, Sometime blind courage
But that is survival
On the streets of Bed-Sty

I'll deal with it
I'm not afraid
And I'm not gonna cry
It's only God's judgement I really fear
I'll only be afraid
After I die
