I ain't afraid of nothing
God made me a black man
I crossed the ocean with chains on my feet
I was whipped for trying to run
When others filled with fear
Were tired and sleep

I kicked Jim Crow's ***
Kicked his dog's *** too
I ain't afraid of nothing
There ain't nothing I'm afraid to do

I don't have time for fear
As a black man you should know
The end is always near

If I 'm afraid then I don't take chances
If I'm afraid then I let others make my way
If I'm afraid then I don't have the mindset
To be successful everyday

Fear will not prevent me from looking anything in the eye
Yes, sometime blind courage
But key to survival
On the streets of Bed Sty

I'll deal with it
Work with it
I'm not afraid
I'm not gonna cry
It's only God I fear
I'll only be afraid
After I die
