This link explains why Firefox crashes with yahoo. I know allot of people like Firefox, but its always good to have several browsers available, extensions are usually the problem with most browsers, the more extensions- usually the more problems. The less extensions the cleaner. Mozilla crashes too sometimes with graphic heavy pages. I usually toggle between Opera and Explorer.
For protection against malcious adware or viruses, I think Kaspersky Anti-Virus is the best. Nothing should be able to install itself on your pc without Kasperky reporting it to you first. And its good for that, its like a Nosey gossiping Old lady.
Also for those of you like myself with tons of important media files on thier pc, or important files in general. Always always always back up your entire hard drive. Doing so at least once a month will save you allot of time, energy and heartbreak. Sometimes its not enough to be able to restore, or roll back your system if something happens. You can use Norton Ghost or True Image to clone your entire hard drive to another one.
Just get another hard drive, the same size you have now, and use the software to clone your hard drive. Keep the cloned drive in a safe place somewhere. Some ppl do this every single week. Cause you never know. If something terrible happens to your system, you wont have much to worry about, just pop in the cloned drive and go about your business.
Do you know how many companies lose millions of dollars, or worse yet go out of business because of lost data?
