I don't believe I've spoken any words from any book. The closest would be paraphrasing a Koan by a Buddhist monk. Other than that the words just happen as words do.Clever words but just not good enough! What I seek you are unware of it's location, etc. Your spoken words from a book isn't getting us anywhere! You don't have a clue, yet you just throw word phrases around as if you do! We want to view as in ["see"] that which I have inquired about! Note I said, "see!" Can you show us that which we seek? If not save the words and move to the side! We have heard enough excuses, etc. If such things existed, and millions of poor souls believed in and are following them, then bring them forward! For the world to see! We heard all the lip service, the play with words etc. You have offer me nothing! We are tired of word games, etc. We again want to see apparently what you have no knowledge and or location of! Who cares about "Chop wood" but you! Now what is the loaction of that which I seek? Enjoy your day....
AGAIN, what does it matter weather or not those storied stone tablets or the Ark still exist or psychically ever did exist? What does it matter? The core messaging would still be the same. If you could trace the lettering carved into stone with your finger and if you could decipher the Ancient Greek it would surely have been written in, how would it change your life? What would it prove or disprove? Why demand Mac & cheese when theres a 7 course meal placed in front of you?
So you speak about millions of poor souls. Souls? You mean bodies have souls? When did that happen? You've argued else where there is no such thing and here in this thread you seem to suggest the same.
So now it becomes we instead of you? You presume to speak for millions rather than for yourself? That millions are seeking enlightenment in todays insane world isn't any surprise. If I were to be so presumptive as you my guess would be numbers into the billions. Whatever path each may find though fulfillment is no farther away than the next step on whatever path they choose to follow. It is all the same....... there is no such thing as time...........infinity is now and within grasp.
Before you throw away the chopping wood metaphor so casually consider it more. Why are you chopping the wood? What are you going to do with the chopped wood? Warm your shelter? Make a shelter? Carve another handle for the axe head I may have made? Shape a pleasing figure for your daughter or son or mate? Perhaps to bring to life again the tree in the sound of a drum? Are you chopping wood to take life or to give life?
Give the metaphor a thought or two you will come up with more.
