    In the Spirit of Sankofa!

    Zulile,

Good video, some rhetoric, especially the Malcolm X ones. Wonder what else this group is offering?

I love this. Moreover, it should be posted in the general forum as well. In fact, it should be posted on all websites

Well....Zulile..two of Destee.com's most powerful Brothers have shared What they think as Black Men, where can we go from here, just a thought in the direction of action!

Posting in all forums......is that feasible or possible to do?

Hearing the Words.......Khasm 13...has music resources..can it be done?

Any assistance in coordinating, you can depend on me! Or whatever! But lets start to go beyond just discussing, too many resources here!

    Yes, I've seen this before.

And, I quite agree that we should all check the sources and the facts when we read/hear so-called stats about Black men and Black women.

It is wrong on both sides to generalize about ourselves. We point fingers at each other. Men say the problem lies with us. Women say it lies with them.

But, the truth is, our little boys and girls grow up to be adults, re-playing and passing on the same negative behaviors and mindsets they inherited from their parents.

So, the bigger question is....how do we stop the cycle?

Oh yeah, Brother Morton is hardcore.

Met the Brother and had a looong talk with him when we had him over for our Eye Behold film festival during Afrikan History Week. Good stuff, people went bananas over it.

THe movie deals with a few ways to "stop the cycle", but nothing conclusive sadly.

    One,

    - Ikoro
