oops. Must have hit the wrong button. There is a HUGE difference between believing that you can have a glass of water if you go into the kitchen to get it and knowing you will have a glass of water because you know that by taking the necessary steps to go get it, there is no other outcome.

Then you go on to make the point i was trying to make

Oh my goodness! I went back to where this whole line of discussion started and it was with the whole faith vs belief statement that I made. No wonder there's such a reaction. What was I thinking?! I've been trying to defend something that I don't even believe myself!

Please forgive me. My son-in-law was in a terrible motorcycle accident last evening and I'm not thinking clearly at all. Part of me knows what I want to say but it's just not coming through in my current state of mind. May I just pick up again when I get myself together?
