In my case, I would just like to be one or the other, and from where I am standing, neither is better. If I go out with a white man, I'm tryin to be white. If I go out with a black man... his friends, acquaintances, family will just view me as another white girl. Why does it matter which race is predominant? I am a Good person, reguardless.
Flojo, you could be any race and be a great person...goes without saying in my book. I just wasn't clear on that point, so I asked, no other way to get the answer that I know of, and I don't like to assume. And also, I know what it is to be black but look like a lot of other things to some people. I don't know what it is to be biracial, or to have pretty much an equal mix of races within me. But, I know what it is to be treated differently and not accepted by some because of appearances.....on this we feel the same. All parts of you are acceptable in the eyes of God, all other eyes take a back seat. Those that matter will accept it all and it take it in stride. Those that don't can take a ride.
