Black People : What Are Our Peoples Current Day Issues And Problems?

Have you ever read Fanon's books: I. e., Black Skins/White Masks, The Wretched Of The Earth, etc.?

Taking it out on each other, for fear of the consequences if directed at the exploiters and oppressors of our people, is the backdrop...

It takes brains and guts to rise about and beyond the commonplace options less than truly social conscious and/or politically hip to it all usually can't or don't want to....

How does one change minds and the rest will follow?

That is called for, not arguing and bickering with each other, on these threads, too...

What also is needed and I want others here to realize is a true consciousness raising etc.

No disrespect to the elder brothers here, but what has been advocated falls for short of your alleged or real goals etc.

I. e., whatever the nature of what took place during the terms of a few white presidents, from Nixon to Bush Junior, that was then and this is now...

One can only dwell on the past so long, or wind up doing nothing about the present, fail to help usher in a better future, etc.

The comments I have boldeded shows that either your old or don't and have never lived in an "urban" area, but one thing for sure is clearly your out of touch with reality. All this deep social Fanon's 1930s theory's don't apply today.Dumb Negros carrying pistols to nightclubs for instance has absolutely NOTHING to do with "fear of consequences if directed at the exploiters" come Chucky, this is 2013 stop with that nonsense.

It's real simple, "Negros" try to live out rap songs. Which in turn causes alot of black on black crime.

I used to live in Detroit, and even my suburban enclave has it's shared big city woes, bruh...

Don't even get me started about your on line monicker...

Sigh...

It only didn't used to, i. e., back when many blacks continued to live in either rural areas and/or small towns, etc.

Daring to claim Fanon's viewpoints etc. were a throwback to Great Depression era's leftist theories?

Then prove it!

Don't take cheap shots at the other brother too!

The oppressed and exploited also mimic their imagined or real exploiters and oppressors too...

I give brother Kenyatta props for constantly reminding us of that too...

You also posted/wrote/etc.

come Chucky, this is 2013 stop with that nonsense.

Belittling me by calling me 'Chucky' (more or less talking down to me like I'm a kid brother) was/is/etc. a childish comeback ad naseum...

Let's do reply back to each other as the adults we are and/or on the mutual respect side...

It's also kinda sort pretentious ad naseum...

So, you give it a rest, too...

Thanks!

I've already posted and well as written that the U. S. mass media helps to promote the idea we are ignorant and backward as a given?

It's' on the 'you people' are all alike side, and the most self serving of cop outs...

Instead some of our relations were and are a bad reflection of letting somebody else redefine them as a means to their ends too...

I hardly claimed or claim Fanon had 'all of the answers'...

Just some of them...

No...

Too many of us were and are also a bad reflection of our alleged or real rivalries etc. too...

I. e., it reflects an idealized notion of our alleged status among each other, whereas the reality is merely having the same fronts as some of the true white movers/shakers/etc.

Even a Rolls Royce in the driveway, loads of dough in trasbags in your basement/etc., hardly puts that person on the same level as whites with money-- and the power it allows them to wield...

The short version:

Hip it it/not down with it...

:10400:

Most the usual 'do for self' rhetoric remains on the' pull ourselves up by our boottraps ' economic empowerment side...

Never mind how present state of the so called black nation undermines such options?

So, let also keep in mind this isn't the nineteenth century, and now we're living in the second decade of the 21st!

Also, let us get our minds around what we can do to uplift the people, too...

Grand dreams and schemes which can or will just uplift a handful of individuals?

Such IS what I do associate with house kneegrows ad naseum...
