Black People Politics : What America sees...

A little more conversation Queenie? A couple points you mentioned, the oncoming predicted bank crash... I question what will happen sooner, the dismantling of our booming economy by Socialists, or something predicted down the the way for some reason?

What do you think Queenie, I watch the news continually because the prophesies say we are going to experience perilous times. So you might see me running around lifting up the window shades taking a look outside to determine if I can see it coming, and yes I do. One prophesy I heard is "People will begin running from state to state when the U.S breaks like a pot." We are already broken in two, between the Ds and the Rs. There are TV news commentary hosts that are stating the possibility of a civil war.

I liken myself to a sensible person, I went out and bought a picture of Jesus, heh heh. Because I'm thinking that is where the safety is, staying close to the Lord. So when I'm walking by I will have comments, (but respectfully).

People are already running out of California by the thousands and that goes for Chicago, New Mexico and Arizona borders. My thoughts are start getting prepared, I've said food storage a dozen times. Remember there are lots of reasons, rolling blackouts -- good books - no TV; floods, we've already seen these things this last year. I think be prepared is a good saying. Put a nice blanket in the car maybe with a flashlight -- and snacks. Okay, I'm resisting paranoia now. :rain:
Fake capitalism

Cleaned-up Capitalism

The broader point here is that leading “capitalists” are often nothing of the sort, particularly when they use political influence to carve out monopolies.

That’s neither capitalism nor socialism. It is something completely different: crony capitalism, corporatism, corporate statism—the terms vary. It promotes wealth concentration that leads to economic stagnation, political instability and the current discontent… which might bring real socialism.

So if you fear socialism, the best way to stop it is to clean up capitalism.

That means stop letting government policy favor large, influential companies. Let everyone compete on an equal footing, and give consumers and workers freedom to choose what they want.

Aah, the beauty of the 'two' party system of 'democracy'.

"The rich continue to get richer, the rest of us, not so much. For all of the claims of political dysfunction, when it comes to bailouts and tax cuts, wars and weaponry and policing and surveillance, these opposition parties can be counted on to come together to overcome their differences. Likewise, when it comes to the public interest, partisan differences are put forward to explain why nothing is possible.'....................Read the essay here:

It matters little to me what kind of bling you wear whether it's made of gold, stainless steel or bands of iron. They are all chains serving the same function as chains have always done.
And I won't be bound by chains of any kind.

There was a lot of word chewing in the article and I am more of a simpler view of things. For instance, a nation is either capitalist or socialist. The bottom line socialist is there is no where to go, no climb, now way out because the government is boss and your paycheck is determined. With capitalism I am my own creation. I have the freedom to fail with a business, and if I do, then I can come back and start another. Am I talking about a huge corporation? Not to begin with. I can take my idea and start small. Maybe it's pony rides at three minutes a turn for three dollars. That ought to take care of insurance, hay and one employee to make sure everything is going safely. If I have five ponys going at the same time, thats $15 dollars for three min. In an hour how much would I make and if I stayed an eight hour day, did I just make over $1000 dollars? I think I come out ahead, times a five day week.

Wouldn't a Socialist president take $700 dollars of my thousand? How am I going to feed my ponies?

From there I can add a carousel and then a rollercoaster, then a fried chicken stand. You know what? I'm going to incorporate my little theme park incase something happens and I don't want to be sued and lose my house. Now I'm a LLC corporation. It cost me $35.00 for the paperwork.

I know somebody who went to Canada. She said there are people who are jealous of the U.S. and don't like us. We presume we are so similar to them, but that Socialism changes things.

I do believe ogoun you said that the real constitutional crisis IS the Constitution. If I have that wrong I know you will let me know. I go 100% with the very end of your post. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wrote, "the real issue to be faced" before superficial matters is, "the radical reconstruction of society itself." That would be a Socialist run on Communism. He said, that this was not good for Black people.
