Hello Hello! I've been in a mountain of boxes from a move. Now on to my thoughts. I'm trying to decide what's crazier the seeming ever more popular mass killings and deterioration of society or Elizabeth Warren as a world leader in tough camo gear for a war with candidates: Iran, No Korea, China, Russia, Syria etc.. What, you don't see that as ratcheting up?

Well let's see, the old south had Democrats standing on the corner protesting Abraham Lincoln everything, including letting the slaves go. They also organized the KKK, and as we move up in history they added racist laws for regulation. Now speaking of these times, they gave us men in the ladies bathrooms, the desire for illegal aliens in sanctuary cities, which brought trash rats, needles on the sidewalk for children to walk by not to forget the stink.

These Democrat candidate officials stand for open borders, illegals rights before black community rights and needs. They put drag queens as model examples teaching the kids to the point a group of eleven year old boys were dressing up as them as their new heroes on a morning show.

The presidential candidates are boasting how they will end global warming by getting rid of combustible engine transportation including airplanes, now saying how much money to implement the Green New Deal their way to the admitted amounts of "Trillions" each of them, Bernie being 16 trillion as only one of their examples. The latest with Bernie, limiting women to one baby (because people are pollution) and getting rid of beef. Add to that the the craziest of all, voting out individual freedom to change us into The Socialist States of America. This is more government control over our lives to our great loss.

Now to those who believe in the prophecies from the Lord, you know that he said, that he will not always strive with man giving them the spirit of wisdom and guidance. These are those days when there are many words and promises that cannot by any possibility work out for reality.

Willa the Democrats and Republicans were never mortal enemies. Need I say more.
Give this guy's writing a little time, I found it a worthwhile few minutes spent that by the end had covered a lot of ground:

Hmm, anyone that will find the time to give it some thought should give it a read.
Here's another piece that requires some independent thought from two writers couching thoughts on the lack of depth and imagination of todays general discourse.

Sorry SOA,
But what does that have to do with any of the three different writers I've put up in my last two posts other than they were posted at CounterPunch?
Was your last post meant to be taken as some kind of critical commentary on the pieces I put up for review and thought?

:score: Yes, Symbol I am so for loving the Democrat people. Of course there was that little ol' Civil War thing enemies. Then there was President Kennedy, much to be admired. If I were old enough to vote for him I would have. But today... talking about those leaders who have the power to change our lives with all the mandatory legislation, we should talk about what is going on with Pelosi and all the new candidates specifically.

There was a "mysterious trip" the Dems took to the border...it turns out they were helping the illegals to say the right thing to get them into the United States. Border control has a purpose to prevent risks from coming in, like the seven men age 16 to 31, five from Honduras and two from Mexico who came in to the states illegally, and are gang members. They began their American stay having stabbed a 16 year old boy 100 times. Also to their list they killed a 14 year old girl with a machete and a baseball bat. That is just one example of what closed borders are for, except for the legal gate through with a national security to guard.

Linda Souris endorses Bernie. She supports Sheria law and female genital mutilation as punishment. He is a died in the wool Socialist, who uses Venezuela as a good Socialist model example. And all the candidates are for the Socialist America. Pelosi is distancing herself from the rest of the candidates.

Regarding Kenn Orphan and Phil Rockstroh's article: Wow, I so admire their gymnastic use of the quill (pen).

Here's a thought that I have had a few times regarding the event of indians and settlers, backed up by the Cavalry. What if the indians had won and the settlers were driven from this land? What do you imagine this nation would be? And without the Chinese contribution? And without the Black influence we would have been a smaller minded nation without our Civil Rights that has been an example across the world. We as a nation have grown with the things we had to overcome, leaving behind many injustices as we grew. Still, evil exists and we always have to identify and fight in courts with wisdom and right.

America is great because it has chosen the better good. If America chooses against the principles of good, it will cease to be great.

You'll have to ask an Indian about that. I would imagine they have their thoughts on that subject as they were the genocide victims.
And without the Chinese contribution?
You mean the slave labor the Chinese provided on the west coast of this country?
And without the Black influence we would have been a smaller minded nation without our Civil Rights that has been an example across the world.
That isn't even laughable it's so profoundly ignorant.
We as a nation have grown with the things we had to overcome, leaving behind many injustices as we grew.
Things we had to overcome? Just what things might that be?
And yes that's is what America does, create injustice then sweeping it under the rug walks away denying it ever happened.
America is great because it has chosen the better good. If America chooses against the principles of good, it will cease to be great.
Yeh sure, that's the myth alright. It's a myth that carries little truck anymore as more and more people wake up to the reality of what America actually is.
Look at Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, the war zones of Africa, our own Southern Hemisphere, look around at the mess.........that is what America is and has wrought. Choosing good? Tell me when was the last time that happened?
Now if you were to say replace the word good with profit, then you'd have it closer to what America is.

Sis. Willa, I'm not seeing the same America that you are describing. In one of your posts, defending capitalism, you said that under #45, Blacks are doing better than ever in recent history. How so? And remember, when you point to lower unemployment numbers, recognize that people are rolled off the unemployment list after being on it for a period of time without finding a job.

But, I'm not seeing the trickle down effect caused by the significant tax savings given as a gift to the wealthy and that helping everyone else. Why should the wealthy not have to pay a federal income tax?

But even if you believe that Black people are better off economically under #45, how do you speak to his racist rants and should they be overlooked by us simply because some believe we are "better off" under his administration? Talk about living in a bipolar world which makes me think of how house slaves must have viewed their situation. Still a slave, but thankful that at least they get to work in the big house and not toil in the fields. So, thank u massa!

I have thought about your comments in favor of capitalism and against democratic socialism. I've learned a lot from your opinions and your humor. But the world that I want to live in, I just don't see it being described in your argument. Why can't something be done to close the gap between the wealthy and poor and we still thrive as a nation? What's wrong with fair and higher wages paid to the working class so they can live their best life? Why can't we show more compassion toward each other and have affordable and quality healthcare for everyone? Why can't a college education be affordable so that families that live in the inner cities can send their kids to college like the families living in the Hamptons?

Compared to you, I know I sound naive and uninformed on this topic but why does this have to be a black and white issue--either this or that--ignore a different paradigm that might help us to be really better off. I may not want to live anywhere else for reasons that you have stated when it comes to enjoying certain freedoms that our Constitution gives us, but as Black citizens, I think it is critical that we do what we can to help this nation become better under a democratic rule that embraces equity and justice for all

Do you think that capitalism can be improved to eliminate racism, and economic inequality?
