:confused:Lost in the understanding of life
I lay legs wide open and eyes wide shut
Indulging in the estasy of lust
    Wishing at the end
there would be what we built.
Creating life as it every woman's God given right
I wish this child would be more than another mouth
A seed nutured by weed, hatred and greed
    I can see.
The futrue of what lies ahead
I lay calm  just staring at the bed.
Wonderin how could such great  be felt.
yet the creation from that love must be killed.
I'm thinking of all the possibilities of our childs life
and I'm praying on the choice that I had to fight
The choice of having a child and being a mother the rest of my life
Losing out on that freedom of youth with no real strife
Yet instill i'm a drunken phien for his smell
yearning to be caught by his spell
    Even after knowin
this child brings more worryin :uhoh:
    less lovin :flirt:
    growin older
    feelin smothered
And my man's thinking lord please for give me for this
    Hatred burried deep inside
wishin this sweet smellin, soft bodied, dyck lovin woman
would have slain the life of our innocent child.
But through this forseen picture of our life we forgot to think about
    his life
Now prematurely ripped from my womb
he lay struggling for his first breath
While the nurses just covered him up
    not giving a fluck
and that's when it hit me.
Our love is an infaction with lust
    and looking at our son
I only feel disgust :puke2: for my self
Sitting on this cold and empty table
full of sorrow and pain
    feelin the rain
I blew him a kiss good bye until I meet him again
    Hoping he'll understand
why he'll never be a man
and why mommy took his life
and didn't encourage him to fight.
    I am a Muderer. :uzi:
As the guilt is eating up my insides
    I keep wonderin why
I never yearned to hear his first cry.

For those who make this choice, they know why at the time. Whatever choice is made, it stays with you for a lifetime. Explicitly crafted and deeply felt.

    hmmmm...
    this is always a difficult
    and emotionally charged
    topic...it's always interesting
to see how a poet approaches
    something so delicate with
    such bravery...

Heart wrenching but very well written...

Thank you all for the love and support. But I must say that this poem is not about me. Well, it's about me in the sense I felt these things but I have never had an abortion. I thought I was pregnant and I kept having a bad dream about having an abortion so I figured if I write it down may be I'd be able to sleep and long behold it worked. I'm over joyed that you all enjoy my writing and you can feel what I feel. That's the whole point of sharing. Much love and Respect given

    Peace
