Greetings, Sister Blkfootblaque and welcome! :hi:

No, I'm not a fan of reality television but I know some sisters that are. I'm curious and hopefully, you will allow me to ask. What is it about those programs that you find interesting?

I hope you enjoy the different discussions that take place here and that you feel comfortable to join in!

    Peace,
    Queenie

ahahaha, lol ....I'm glad you asked that. The very reason it can get on your nerves is one reason why I watch them. Second reason is I like strategy and smart people, they become my HERO, sort-of-speak, and because of people. Looking at different people helps me understand human behavior.

    Peace sista and welcome.

I'm not a fan because they have wore out their welcome with me. I hate when we get on there and be the biggest clowns. Like Flava Flav.

    Peace!

Hello Sister Blkfootblaque and thank you for responding to my question. I agree with you on a couple of points you made:

    1. I admire smart people too. But I'm fascinated and drawn, energy-wise, to intelligent minds. People who think beyond the mundane and aren't comfortable knowing only what they are told. I'm attracted to people who see life more deeply than what appears on the surface and take bold steps to ask big questions which comes natural to them like breathing.

    2. Like you, I look at and listen to different people because it also helps me to understand them, which is important if we want to build strong and honest relationships. To "know" is so much more fulfilling than to believe and far outweighs a guess.

I don't like situations that get on my "nerves" though. To me, that's negative energy and I tend to repel it. I don't take joy in others' misery and stupidity. Seeing it once is enough for me to understand it. I don't need to repeat the cycle. The so-called reality shows are not my reality, they belong to someone else and I don't find it 'entertaining.' I'm more curious about the people that choose to watch it, which is why I asked the question.

However, I'm not judging those that choose to watch. I know that we, as Black people, aren't all the same. Of all the people that I've asked who watch "reality" tv, you've given me the best response so far. Thank you!

:hello: Blkfootblaque ... Welcome Welcome Welcome ...

Thanks for joining us and sharing!

No, i'm not a fan of them. I'm not interested in watching someone else's life.

In fact, i have a theory about reality shows, and will start a thread on it.

Please make yourself at home, because you are!

    Much Love and Peace.
