    The colored section

Force to this place against my own will

Auctioned off like cattle to work in someone’s field

Was taught to be inferior because of the color of my skin

    Believing black was beautiful

But it was ugly to them

Why can I not fight back

Why do I have to turn the other cheek

What was the meaning behind I have a dream

Why did he have to die because of that speech

Was by any means necessary Malcum X down fall

Since they lost there lives for us to have these freedoms

Tell me do you even care at all

    Why are brotha's killing brotha's

    Teenage sista's becoming mothers

We do we love the idea of being black

    But can't stand one another

Brotha's selling drugs to are own kind for the fly whips and chains

We are digressing going back in time

When we where whip and chained

Am I a disgrace to my own race if my girl friend has a white face

Or is this just another form of hate that we just replaced

If I make a lot of money from my degrees, Acting, or Rap

Am I obligated to go the hood and try to give back

Is empathy towards are brotha's and sisters a emotion that we lack

Are moving forward as a people or is this world nothing more then a

    metaphoric bus

And we keep forcing are selves to the back

this vibe definitely raises the question to us as black people....

i loved it..becuz it really is a wonder...

we have made so much standards for ourselves...that it seems like we gotta tiptoe through the generalizations that even we have created....

Is it ok to quote what you write?
I ask cause no copyright in sight
I do see some worth in your print
There are many things we need to repent
