For those who belong to a faith that believe that homosexuality is a sin, I'm curious as to what your opinion is on a person who, after having a sex change operation, decides to become religious. Which gender would be spiritually appropriate for them to live? What gender could they go to for romance? If they go to the same gender, (meaning for example a man who is now a 'woman' dates a man), they will appear 'normal' to the public, but be gay in reality. If they go to the opposite gender (meaning for example, a man who is now a 'woman' dates a woman), in reality they'll be straight, but look gay to the public.

    Thoughts?

First we must understand that NATURE (not just faith) see's homosexuality as an unnatural, abnormal, and condemns it.
Most religions and cultures simply back this up.

Secondly, there is no such thing as a gender appropriate spirit because the spirit (in most cases) is beyond gender.

    Gender is physical/biological....not necessarily spiritual.

But as far as intimacy for those who've changed sexes....

Perhaps celibacy will have to be a self imposed punishment for thier crime of altering God's creation.

    Interesting answer.

So in your opinion sexually the person would have to remain celibate, but as far as how they identify themselves in public it wouldn't matter as much? Like they wouldn't be sinning if they decided to live the rest of their days as the 'new' gender?

    Karma

    Respect

A person IS what they ARE.

    Religion shouldn't over-ride logic.

Both them and society would have no choice but to accept what gender (or genders in some case) they are regardless of what there religion teaches.

God made us male and female for a reason. God would have only made one gender if he intended for us to be gay. Our bodies are made for heterosexual sex not homosexual sex which is a fact that people seem to ignore. Two people of the same gender cant procreate therefore homosexuality cant be God's will because God said "be fruitful and multiply" 2 men cant multiply and neither can 2 women.

If everyone on earth was gay we would have to have children out of wedlock and in many cases have sex with people we dont love . How can homosexuality possibly be considered moral? It is because the devil fills our heads with this and other lies to seperate us from Jesus . Resist the devil and embrace Jesus who is the the one and only way to eternal life.

I wonder how often such a case happens, if at all. Since one knows changing their gender is not in line with the Father, and that many will make this known to them, I highly doubt they'd become religious afterward. But if ever there was a case, they'd simply need to decide who matters more; themselves or the Father and the Son.

If they choose themselves, then they'll live as they see fit, regardless of actually doing as we are taught of the One who died for our sins that we may be salvaged to life.

If they choose the Father and the Son, then they'll either get a change back, or they'll abstain from any sexual or romantic activities all their days because of the confusion they've caused with their bodies. Some have to make bigger sacrifices than others in the faith, especially according to the way we lived before we were found in he faith, so there should be no quarrel about it.

The Son made the greatest sacrifice for us, when He was hung up on the tree, and He has been resurrected to life eternal never to leave the Father's side, so if we do the same believing and being faithful in works, we, too, shall never leave His side in life we've been granted.
