    The storm stormed and subsided
    drenching my physicalities
    pouring down on me
    upon me
    up on me
    wouldn't drown me
    but showed me
    symbolically molded me
    transformed me
    awakened me
    tried to make me new
    brand new
    but i knew
    pain could never really vanish
    i can mask it
    confuse it
    infuse it with jovial thought
    even act oblivious
    like things were A-O-K
    but L-O-V-E hurts
    losing it almost deadly
    hopeful for my next turn
    apprehensive in the same breath
calm and contented in realization that love was experience at least once before DEATH!

    The storm is passing over....

Brother Dyme, you bring so many complex emotions together at once in this brilliant piece....I hear and feel every word written here. Even the pauses in between breaths where the unspoken can be heard ~ moves me into remembrance and reflection. And it is true, no matter the outcome of a love experience, it is such a blessing to have shared it with our whole selves ONE GOOD TIME, before we die.

    Speak Poet.

    ALYCE...

the emotions brought to this piece
    brought me peace
    freed by summer rain
    released
    on summers night
    each drop
    every drop
    in abundance
    translucent
    from the pitch black sky
    connecting with facets of ME
    D-A-V-E
    my inner child
    and outer MAN
    embrace
    similarities in face
    but drastically different
    in experience
    innocence
    versus
    corruption
    at the hands of life's
    harsh realities
    purity
    versus
    filth
awaiting the second coming of the RAIN.
