(g)
there was the alcoholic
the one who couldn't face herself
the thief
the one who was neglected
and she who could have been my queen -
her stepdaddy messed her up for life
and so
went us
I have bad luck
in love I always have
(b)
Bad luck runs down my lane as well..
One man can break
All ya believe in….
His thinkin is distort…
Tryin ta tame..
Playin in a game…
What happen ta love…
Then the carin
Along with the
Understanding…..
Dayum I wanted ta be his Queen….
Just think he would have been
My King…..
(g)
with every failure
hope shrinks like a dying flame
harder to get back up on
my feet again
question myself
make brutal comparisons to
the successful
feel like a freak
hope erodes into
apathy
(b)
Enduring
I was….tryin ta be
And got hurt…
Questioning myself…
Oh ways all me…
Takes for dis ride…
And I always seems ta get
Left behind…
Love aint for me…
Messed with my pride
Tore my soul….
What a man
Who can chain my heart
Then just go…..
(g)
then there's the part where you don't
see the possibility
doesn't even occur or
appear to be
not even part of
my memory
hard to see
what can be
love shouldn't be a
fantasy
(b)
Its out there…
Dis i know…
One day dat possibility
Will show…
For now it was a lesson learned…
For you it was her
For I it was him…
Love…..
A fantasy of a fantasy…
One day I find my King…
And ya find dat one Queen…
