Got a Story

I know how it feels to be alone
I know how it feels to put hands on the phone
Insecure heart in need of security
Asking questions like, “is anyone feeling me?”
Is everybody ballin, money pourin in?
Is everybody an angel while u dwell in sin?
Affectionate other, is it still inside?
Driver, no longer the passenger in the ride

I know how it feels to feel so many bills
I know how it is to drive and oil leaks like spills
Lose sleep over papers that not even tested
Cats only want you cuz you big breasted
Stocks overdue, body feels like the reaper man
Times running out, here comes the repo man
To go the mall, look at an outfit, patches in ya jeans
They didn’t fit, cuz of tight seams

I know how it feels to have an agenda
I know how it is to look back and remember
Before when you were happy and full inside
So many options you must a tried
Hold ya head, keep you shoulders square
You can’t see, but he’ll be there
When you at ya least, friends done all they can
Not seen in the physical, it’s that man
