    .......As misplaced as it is, our surnames take on twists and turns which only serve as reminders of what happen to us, by way of the Trans Atlantic...smh. Hence, it isn't all that difficult to identify who the claimants are in the pursuit of Reparations, as the opponents make believe.

    In a puzzling twist, most of these people are black. The 2000 U.S. Census counted 163,036 people with the surname Washington. Ninety percent of them were African-American, a far higher black percentage than for any other common name.

    Interesting.....our last name is so uncommon it wouldn't be hard at all to trace our surname all the way back to slavery lol. Teach black man.....
