    Peace!

Hopefully this is in the right place. I have a question that anyone can feel free to give an answer to.

    Was Jesus a sacrifice?

And to whom was he sacrificed to?

    Greetings Brother,

Actually, I do not know the answer. I have my thoughts on it, but each of us have a different take. Your response is interesting and actually prompts another question.

If Yashua was sacrificed to Yahweh (Elohim), who sacrificed Yashua or Jesus? and why?

imo no. We don't even know if

    a.) jesus ever existed
b.) if he did whether his story was fabricated

I've even seen reports that show the cross didn't even exist during the time of Jesus's alleged execution. Too many questions and not enough answers for me........But to each his/her own........

I can understand your sentiments, sister, and respect your response. I am just being inquisitive and learning other people's perspective. Helping Black people? Hmmm... Now, that is a very generic and broad statement. Who knows if the obvious answer will indeed help Black people.....

    Blackbird,

Before I answer your second question. Tell me what your thoughts are?

    Peace!

Thank you for your submission. It is greatly appreciated to provide another twist to this thread. Whether the story of Jesus' crucifiction is true or not, does not invalidate whether the story was a story of sacrifice.

The Ifa Odu speaks about alot of sacrifices. Now were the personages sacrificing actual people who may have existed is questionable, but it doesn't take away from the idea.

    Brother Clyde,

    Indeed, my thoughts are:

What is the very nature of sacrifice?

Why is a sacrifice needed or required for anything, including non-religious or non-spiritual matters?

What is the benefit of the receiver of the sacrifice?

These are not actual questions directed towards you or anybody; just my thoughts and reflection.

    Blackbird,

Brother, you know I have admired you since my arrival here, some two years ago. I can certainly tell that you are serious about this, the way in which you are handling posters, very impressive.

It is a circular question, your second is, it goes back full circle from whence it started. Now, I have more than just answered the two questions as asked, initially. If there is any more required, I strongly suggest that you pick up your Bible and begin to read it. Please don't take this in the wrong manner, Blackbird. There is nothing else I can do to help you with this matter. You are a very intelligent person, please continue!
