A lot of people have talked about how they bought something, thinking it was a good buy and turned out it wasn't.

In your lifetime, what things have you spent money on, whether it's from an advertisement and you actually felt you made a good investment? (The product actually worked wonders like an ad may have 'promised' that it would) OOOOOHHH how about those products from those infomercials? Yeahh you know what I am talking about. I'm just curious of people's investments, and if you have some things you may have bought that you later found out was a waste of money, feel free to share those as well!

I bought my college degree. That was a waste of time and money.

Though my printer was a pretty good buy. I'd estimate that including paper and ink costs, printing a double-sided sheet costs $0.03. Which is pretty good.

I can't think of anything off the top of my head.
Everything I've been buying in the last few years have been homeruns :).

    Spoke too soon... financing...

... never want to do that again. I regret purchasing debt.

The things that I consider worth my money are:

    • The computer course I did a few years ago $150.00 BDS...(US 75.00)
    • My sewing machine just under $130.00 US
    • Crochet software I purchased from Texas ($39.00) US
For about three years I searched for the kind of crochet software that I wanted and found it thanks to the Internet. With the computer skills I have, this has made life for me and my craft business wonderful. With this I can now make my own crochet patterns. (of course I had typing skills from the time I was a teenager) I think investment in skills is more viable than in things that you can wear e.g. shoes, bags etc. These get old but the skills you have last a lifetime.

I bought a dining room table and to be honest I regret purchasing it. Looked very good in the store, but the material was not the best.

I got a Zune, I know most people don't know what this is, it is the Microsoft version of an IPOD, for
80 bucks. It is a 30 GB, and I have had it for 4 or 5 years, and I be rocking it all day everyday! I can watch videos, put pictures on it and listen to the radio. I love it. I got it on a site called woot.com. I love that site, it gives you good stuff for the low low sometimes.
