I went into a a business to get my phone serviced.
I asked the guy there was it black owned because I saw an asian guy there.
He said yeah I own it!
I said then what is he doing working here?
He looked at me and said well he is the brother of the guy I bought the shop from and he asked me to make sure he has a job.
And he said he is a good worker!
I looked back at him and said many of us are good workers as well!
He hesitated and tried to explain himself.
I wasn't trying to put him on the spot.
I just couldn't understand why he had loyalty to someone who is not black and no longer owns the property!

No sister you were not wrong. Unfortunately the only color that matters in a capitalist society is green.

    Peace..........

No you weren't wrong cursed heart. One of the primary obligations of black business owners is to employ black people. That is how they give back to the community, instead of just exploiting it.

Yeah that's true, it just pissed me of because there are so many asian businesses in black neighborhoods and they want our money but they don't trust us for chit!
They follow us when we shop, hell they even watch the black employees.
They only have them helping to look for items because they figure black people know what black people need. They have security on us, black folks watching black folks but you'll never see one of us on the register!

And that's exactly why I got so pissed!
So it's out of selfishness and greed?
Forget all our sisters and brothers who struggle to find work but make sure the asians stay employed in a black owned business!
    It was so insulting!
