Black Poetry : War On The Black Man

Shaneak

What you stated is very true.
However, we continue to divide ourselves
Black People PERIOD! not the black rich, the black Africans
BLACK PERIOD! white is white ALL OVER THE WORLD.
The world is changing constantly TRUE, but
the one thing that has remained the same for FAR too long
RACIAL INJUSTICE to the BLACK MAN.
I don't and I won't hate ANYONE. It's their
ACTIONS I hate/dislike and disagree with,whichever
or all.
I agree with your comment that we continue to love
others NO MATTER how we're MISTREATED.
But we have ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM MISTREATING
and HATING EACH OTHER. We envy one another for numerous reasons,
which are VERY APPARENT
COLOR
JOB
HOUSE
CLOTHES
CAR
EDUCATION and so many trivial things. This is our disease and we're
DYING.. It's time for a CURE.
I don't teach my son and daughter to hate, but I do arm them with
the knowledge of what's REAL, it's one of the weapons they'll need
to survive in this White World.

Thanks for your feedback:) Coco

You have made very valid points and i couldn't agree with you more on many of the things that you said. But the only one that i can say is wrong is the racial injustice which in a sense is a crime against us inflicted by our society and the government. How can we change that. I haven't a clue. I was always tell my black male friends. Just stay strong. If you don't want trouble don't go getting into any...and if it comes to you...make sure you got your RIGHTS covered. That's all I can say about that. But in regards to us hating each other. envying each other. I don't just find that in our race. I find that in all races. We just make ours obvious. Kind like that joke on Kings of Comedy. White people say..I hope nobody doesn't get into my seat. Black people say...I wish somebody would get in my seat. We make it obvious...known. Have you noticed unless its really big...they would show a black shooting on the news before a white. they assume black kids are on drugs before the white. They assume white kids will succeed before black. that is the way of our society...but things are constantly changing. they look at our race and say...ANIMAL. Are we doing anything to change that...trying...and i pray that someday...we will. And maybe one day when i have a son or daughter...they don't have to see or go through a lot of things I've seen or been through...

I didn't repost this to discuss, but you asked yourself that question, now go and ask a Black man........
It's so much more deeper than that.......it's real....you have to live it to understand it.....no disrespect intended.....I know there are good white people out there just as there are bad.....standing up for my Black man doesn't mean I'm putting you or anyother white person down........ I'm just aware and staying alert......nothing wrong with that is there? Let me be clear on your thoughts.... are you saying these condition only exist for some black men? And it's not a question of fitting in...being left alone and allowed to live equally as other men.....EVERY black men, not few!
