Black Poetry : Walking blindly in love

How did you get so entangled into my soul ties?
A deeper emotional connection as time flies
Love started as gentle as butterfly kisses
And grew into an awesome consuming bliss
Upon waking God gets my first thought
But you’re the very next image caught
My first words spoken to a mortal are to you
With your call my day starts fresh and anew
Several times through the course of the day
My mind somehow magically slips your way
I take care of business but on you my mind stays
Daily, your name is on my lips even when I pray
Yes I’ve known love before but this is an exception
Never loved anyone who has been my soul’s reflection
Sometimes bewildered because this is so truly unique
No guide to help cipher where this love shall peak
But I gladly go into the unknown holding your hand
Trusting and praying that you have an ultimate plan​
