    A
    lone man on a journey.
    I finally walk away from
    the desolate debris of my former prison;
    free and liberated.

    My lungs fill with fresh air,
    the light of divine intervention illuminates
    my face.
    every tear-carved wrinkle in my face
    soften.
    The aged has become young.
    The tired has become strengthened.
    The faint is now made strong.

    l finally walk away from
    the desolate debris of my former prison;
    free and liberated.
    The air hums with the renewal of my heartbeat,
    My senses are finely tuned to my new surroundings.
    The hunger I experienced has faded with
    the ambrosial taste of being released from
    my gilded cage.
    Black bird in captivity;
    the front door of his cage un-latched and now he can
    enjoy being free.

    Fly blackbird, fly away.
    Fly and float high above the dungeons of your
    former oppression.
    Stand on the far bank of the promise land and look at the
    coast of the destroyed island from whence you came.
    Never forget the name of the man that saved you...
    the man that touched the iron cuffs on your wrist and
    boldly led you out of your 'Bastille,' leading you
    audaciously before your sentinels;
    with them never the wiser. Remember blackbird and sing
    his name from land to land, country to country and nation to nation.

    Enjoy what He has given you blackbird.
    Fly in all form of liberty and purity,
    soaring high above the clouds in places where only
    eagles tread.
    Fly black bird and never look back.
    Fly, fly, fly beyond the piercing of the sun.
    Fly away.
    l finally walk away from
    the desolate debris of my former prison;
    free and liberated.
    This blackbird flies away.

    Poeta nascitur, non fit, Indeed, PropheticNsyght.
    Your poetic illumination, and elucidation is bright.
    This poem giants cliffs during dark desolant nights.
    It calls the lost to come and see liberation's lights.

    A scribe of freedom, breaking the chains that bind in an endless flight of freedom. Such an ease of determination in this flow. Well posed as always.
