That was such a validating and reaffirming lovely exhibit!

Just reading about it made me wish to have been there to experience the sisterhood and the poetry.

    Good job!

In the Spirit of Sankofa and the Truth!

    PatriceCQueen,

And you should be very proud Patrice, we are definitely proud of you. A fantastic exhibit, for real, here is what I found that I liked:

Patrice C. Queen was instrumental in organizing and installing the exhibit. A member of VOW and a survivor herself, she came to a Dwa Fanm Survivor Advocacy Board meeting when they talked about having an exhibit. She had exhibition experience and offered to help.

“Having survivors develop their own exhibit is so important,” Patrice says. “With so many survivor organizations, the staff is so helpful they don’t allow the survivors to implement their own programs; they doesn’t allow for the woman healing to reach her full potential. There is an importance of survivors to empower themselves by implementing their own projects. This exhibit was the way they (we) wanted to do it.”

    That’s my sister friend!

    LOL

I almost missed a response to you

It is good to share my little triumph with you

I was allways a winner at destee

it is kind of difficult to be busy now

I reflect on the days the room was full and one best agree to disagree

I did not always understand Destee's patience and tolerance and respect of each of us and if we did nto have all that

No matter how busy i get I think of you (collective) the classes with old soul

I have a air card that I will be turning on soon and I will be able to take breaks where I am and then I hope I find the room full or get into an interesting conversation of the times we live in

    Guess what

    No more crisis

just maneuvering and remembering not to sweat the dumb stuff

    Peace

    will keep you updated

    Patrice

Well Patrice, I am certainly glad you didn't miss me, lol. And yes you have hit the high mark twice, why there's a Destee.com and the Exhibit was excellent, please keep up the good work.
