Snow in Alaska
Falling on desolate plains
Matches her silence
Kaboom, this flow slams with a huge boom, its really deep I enjoyed the way you likened her silence to cold, icy snow-don't get covered up too deep now!!!
Yes Ma'am and Yes Sir
Brilliantly crafted analogy and poem.
Thank you Nia Maishani, although I'm not sure there are plains in Alaska. The image is good, but it may not be at all accurate. Those kinds of things drive me crazy. Thanks for feeling me.
I actually wasn't in that much trouble when this came to me. When the snow is too deep, I can't even find a pen!
ahh, Haiku in its purest form...
thank you for this.... (and I believe as a Poet, you have poetic license to portray Alaska however your artistic eye sees fit...I'll see it, too)
Alyce, thank you. You never know when you put this stuff out there, and I mean bring it into creation, if anyone can hear you. Thank you.
