(just a tad upset cuz...)

I don't want her to hurt anymore
she sheds tears that no one hears...ever

the muhfuggin "takers" make too much
GoTdayum "gimme" noise to even notice
she is screaming for quiet...
for peace...for understanding...
for love

life is not kind
especially for those
who love to give

we are nothing alike...see,

& she exemplifies
beauty, humility, open-ness
& her spirit lives to love

but she remains un-cherished
in that special way

I wish my love could be enough
I wish my words could soothe
& sustain her for longer than
a 3~ hour phone conversation...

I wish my mental hugs across the
miles could satisfy...

she shouldn't cry those tears alone

& there's no good reason
for her heart to ache in broad day light

it's a crime
because she knows she
can literally stand in the
middle of the street
at rush hour
drenched in blood

and the blind and the vacant
will gather around her like the
walking dead

they'll bring their raggedy *****
& come and ask
for another favor....some more time....
another chance

to ignore the love she is

& abuse
her tender heart

Speak that....

I KNOW exactly what you speakin bout.

Baller, it isn't that easy...a soft, fragile heart needing to be hardened and numb to any kind of emoton as a means of keeping everyone out....it is a crime....

'Lyce write as you and I know it...
I am personally feelin it...

So sad, but true...kindness taken advantage of, misused and abused
